Leadership Meeting 11/7/11

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend!
Here is what you may have missed...
 
Activity:  What kind of leader are you?
Rate yourself on a scale of 0-5 on our questions, add some scores together and PRESTO!  You figure out what areas you are strongest as a leader.  Based on your results you can read about the type of leader you are and make decisions about how you could improve your skills.  (Come to the SSS Office to get a copy of this if you are interested in doing it

Next Semester Monthly Meeting
We will be sending out a "Doodle" to see when everyone's best availability is for second semester and we will plan on creating monthly meetings so you know when we will be meeting plenty of time in advance!

Fundraising
Think about ways to sell AirHeads and fundraise!  We are no longer allowed to purchase food for our events from the money we receive from Student Senate therefore we will have to get it other ways.

Ad-Hoc Committees
Once we update our bulletin board it will reflect any committees where you can sign up for your time.  At this time we do have one committee for the December 5th Event (see below).


Event During Finals!!!!!
On Monday, December 5th (The first Monday of finals), we will be hosting a "SecretSS" event in the Student Union from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Please sign up for an hour that you can sit at the tables (you just have to be there, you can be studying for other finals) and show your activity and support.  You will just need to be there to answer any questions.  If you cannot be involved on that day we will need people to post things around campus so let us know if you have any other times.

Other Matters

• We need to find more "homes" for our SecretSS box because our time of having it at the Student Union is almost up!  If you can think of any places or have any contacts around campus please let us know!
• There is an article in the Winonan currently being composed about our project.
• Think about ways you would like to display the "SecretSS" we get around campus:  What other ways should we display them other than Facebook?
• Free Food During Finals is being sponsored this year by the Parents Group but our group will be hosting the event so we will need to order the food, figure out ways to advertise within TRiO as well as think of any other things we may want to do during that time.  (ex:  do we want to have a day/time where people can come in and play games and make this an official social event?
